Finally, the unfortunate father of the missing girl approached the court. This incident has caused extreme anger among the people of the local Hindu community on the one hand, on the other hand they are extremely worried about the safety of the girls of the family.

It is known that the name of the abducted girl is Tama Mandal (16). The girl is the only daughter of Ramakrishna Mandal, a carpenter by profession, resident of Ahuti village under Agailjhar police station in Barisal district.

Tama is a first year intermediate student of Shaheed Abdur Rab Serniabat Degree College, Barisal. She has considerable reputation in the area as a brilliant student. On the other hand, the main accused in the kidnapping of the girl is Mohammad Arafat (20) Bepari. He is the son of Awal Bepari, a resident of Magura village near Ahuti village. The second main accused is Sagar Sheikh (35), a resident of Dasar village under Dasar police station.
